(EN) My Lyon 2 University Account

At Lyon 2, your university account is required to access your university email, the student portal (ENT), Moodle, your timetable and all online services. Once you receive the email to set up your account, you can activate it straight away; even if your administrative enrolment has not yet been fully completed. We strongly recommend doing this as soon as possible, because your certificate of enrolment is automatically sent to your Lyon 2 email address. If your Lyon 2 email has not been created yet, you will not receive the certificate.

Please note : Gmail addresses often receive the activation email late, or sometimes not at all. To avoid any issues, we strongly recommend not using a Gmail address. If you have no other email address, please check your spam folder and add no-reply@univ-lyon2.fr to your contacts.


I have not received the email to create my account. What should I do?

  • First, check your personal inbox and your spam folder, as emails are sometimes filtered automatically.
  • If you still cannot find it, you can request your login details to be resent at any time via the following link: https://profil.univ-lyon2.fr/reset
  • If you believe the personal email address you provided is incorrect, you can request an update via the “Votre inscritpion Administrative” section, using the subject line: “La modification de vos informations personnelles”.

I am enrolled on a joint programme with another institution (Lyon 1, Lyon 3, ENS Lyon, INSA, etc.). How do I obtain my Lyon 2 university account?

If your programme is jointly accredited (for example with Lyon 1, Lyon 3, ENS Lyon, IEP Lyon, etc.), your Lyon 2 faculty must complete a specific registration procedure on your behalf. Once this has been done, you will receive an email inviting you to choose a username, a Lyon 2 email address, and a password; just like any other Lyon 2 student. You will then have a Lyon 2 IT account allowing you to access the university’s digital services. If you experience any difficulties, please contact your Lyon 2 gestionnaire de scolarité (programme administrator) first. The Centre d'Inscriptions can assist afterwards if necessary.

Who should I contact if I experience technical issues with my Lyon 2 account?

My timetable is not showing / I do not have access to Moodle

This is usually due to an inscription pédagogique (academic /course registration) issue. Please contact your Lyon 2 gestionnaire de scolarité : contacts (clickable link).

I have completed all the steps and it still does not work

If you have followed all the usual steps (requesting the account creation email again, checking your personal email address, attempting to log in, etc.) and your Lyon 2 university account still does not work, you should contact l’assistance informatique étudiante de l’Université.  (the university Student IT support service).

You can get help in a number of ways:

  • Online, via the Hotline Étudiante (Student Hotline tool), available through the student intranet > Applis > Assistance,
  • By phone on +33 (0)4 78 77 44 31, Monday to Friday 9 A.M - 6 P.M (excluding university colsure periods),
  • In person, through self-access IT rooms during teaching periods, where DSI support staff can assist you,
  • At the Guichet des Services Numériques / GSN ( Digital Services Help Desk) on either Berges du Rhône (BDR) or Porte des Alpe (PDA) campus.
